IT Specialist

About the Role
We are looking for an IT Specialist to join our team and support the day-to-day activities of our IT department.
IT Specialist responsibilities include maintaining the computer networking system in an office environment by tracking server activity, performing upgrades of software, maintaining computer hardware, addressing questions about technical problems, and improving efficiency by evaluating system network functions. To add, as an IT Specialist, your role is to provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation in the office. Supports managers through a variety of tasks related to organization and communication. You are responsible for confidential and time-sensitive material.
Qualifications
- Bachelor in Science in any IT-related course.
- With 2-3 years of working exp in IT and at least 6 months of working experience as an IT specialist in the BPO industry
- Must have advanced knowledge of Windows 10
- Must have advanced knowledge of GSuite and Google Apps and cloud services
- Must have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Apps and cloud services
- Must have basic knowledge of MAC
- Must have basic knowledge in troubleshooting VoIP system
- Be willing to speak to a client on a needed basis
- Familiar with the IT ticketing system
- Must be willing to physically carry hardware equipment and setup workstations
- Must be willing to extend overtime and be on call as needed.
- Amenable to working on-site at our Cebu City office
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Onboard new hires and set up a workstation for employees to start on a given date
- Offboard employees who have separated from the Company
- Assist in managing assets and movement of company equipment
- Provide technical support to staff, Operations team and Clients
- Communicate directly to Client either by phone, email or instant messaging on as needed basis
- Maintain Company assets and ensuring equipment is functional
- Manage VoIP system
