ABOUT THE ROLE

Team Leaders manage and lead a team of Virtual Assistants (VAs). Their main tasks are people and client management. They communicate company goals, safety practices, and deadlines to team members. Motivate team members and assess performance. Provide help to clients, management, including engagement and training, and keep management updated on team performance. Communicate concerns and policies among clients, management, and team members.

IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • Must have at least 3 years’ experience as a Team Leader/ Supervisor/Manager in the Virtual Assistant, BPO, KPO or Shared Service industries
  • Bachelor’s Degree holders are preferred
  • Client Management Skills – Experience in dealing with clients
  • High-level competence in Microsoft Office (skills in other software or CRMs will be an advantage)
  • Key skills must include: Excellent written and verbal English, Analytical thinking, Strong organizational skills, People Management
  • Key attributes must include: Ability to work with a team, results, and client -focused

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supports Management, Clients and team members (VAs).
  • Liaise with clients if they have any questions or concerns pertaining to their staff (VAs) or company objectives.
  • Liaise with clients when onboarding and offboarding staff (VAs).
  • Serving NTEs, sanctions, and coaching logs.
  • Checks attendance, and reports the tardiness and absences to the VAP HR Call-Ins Group chat for tracking and monitoring.
  • Provides encouragement to team members (VAs), including communicating team goals and identifying areas for new training or skill checks.
  • Conducts Catch-Up Sessions with team members (VAs).
  • Answering questions and empowering team members (VAs) with skills to improve their confidence, product knowledge, and communication skills.
  • Oversees team members (VAs) work for quality and guideline compliance.
  • Develops strategies to promote adherence to company regulations and performance goals.
  • Conducts team meetings to update on best practices and continuing expectations.
  • Generates and shares comprehensive and detailed reports about performance, company-related objectives, and deadlines.
  • Creating a pleasant working environment that inspires the team.
