ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an HR Officer to join our team and support the day-to-day activities of our Human Resources department.

HR Officer responsibilities include processing employee data, updating company policies, and assisting in the hiring process. To be successful in this role, you should have solid organizational skills and be familiar with HR functions. You must be able to juggle various administrative tasks in a timely manner.

The HR Officer performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leaves; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development among others.

IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • 5 years of proven work experience as an HR Officer or similar roles
  • A graduate of HRD Management, Psychology, or other related fields
  • Experience in a VA/Offshoring company is an advantage (but not required)
  • Specializes in ER is a plus
  • Ability to work with and uphold the confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (phone, email, in-person)
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work in a team or individually as and when required.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • MS Office and/or G-Suite Master (Spreadsheets, Word, PPT, etc)
  • Full understanding of HR functions and best practices.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS)

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manages the HR email and responds to inquiries and/or refers complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate specialists or other team members.
  • Responds to employee questions about benefits and other HR-related matters
  • Maintains and updates physical and digital employee records, trackers, and databases
  • Prepares employee files and documents including but not limited to Agreements, Certificates, Salary Adjustments, Employee Movements, and the like.
  • Facilitates the offboarding process for employees leaving the company including but not limited to exit interviews, clearances, releasing of final pay, etc.
  • Assists in rolling out guidelines and FAQs about company policies and organizing/preparing training sessions
  • Conducts Background Checks, Police Checks for AU employees
  • Prepared Induction Timeline and Facilitates Onboarding for AU employees
  • Prepares data and creates regular reports/presentations on HR metrics like attrition, turnover, and other HR activities and requirements
  • Coordinates with the Finance/Payroll Team by providing relevant employee information affecting payroll
  • Participates in HR projects and events
  • Assists with performance management procedures and documentation
  • Schedules meetings, interviews, hearings, and HR events and maintain agendas/minutes
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest HR trends and best practices
  • Provides suggestions on process improvements and innovations in the delivery of HR services
  • Coordinates with Success Managers and other departments on requests and deliverables concerning their staff and subordinates
  • Performs other duties as assigned
