Australian Paralegal

About the Role

The Australian Paralegal provides high-quality administrative support to our clients' legal teams remotely. This role requires experience within the Australian legal system and a commitment to professionalism, accuracy, and confidentiality.

Ideal Candidate (Must-Have Requirements)

  • Experienced as a legal assistant or paralegal
  • Solid knowledge of Australian law terminology and legal documentation
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently
  • Experience with practice management systems is advantageous

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Draft and format legal documents
  • Manage files according to legal protocols
  • Liaise professionally and compassionately with clients via email
  • Handled diary management, scheduling, and coordinating meetings
  • Enter data and maintain accurate file notes in practice management systems
  • Provide general administrative support to solicitors as required
